3 Days  Jinja Source of the River Nile, Itanda / Kalagala Falls, Mabira Forest & Sezibwa Falls

Duration: 3 days – 2 nights

High Lights:  Source of the Nile, Itanda/ Kalagala Falls, Sezibwa Falls & Mabira Forest

Day 1: Depart from Kampala for a stretch of about 80kms Eastern part of Uganda through Mukono town to Jinja with a brief stop at Sezibwa cultural site, a hidden cultural treasure with a number of traditional attachment.  Proceed to Mabira eco tourism site, treasure for Buganda kingdom, we shall have a Nature walk, this is a rewarding view of different bird species and some primates Black and white Colobus monkeys and Vervet Monkey  are seen swinging in the tree branches . We shall continue to Mabira eco tourism site for a nature walk that will take 2-3 hrs and will extend to the Griffin falls, the natural spring within the forest, not forgetting the rich fauna of different species within the forest.
We shall have lunch within the forest, and then heading to Jinja through tea and sugarcane plantations of Metha Group Companies arrive Jinja in the Evening Dinner and overnight at  Nile Resort Jinja Hotel or Gately on the Nile or Sunset Hotel – Jinja.

Day 2: Early breakfast set off for to Itanda/Kalagala Falls, to see the prolific rapids at kalagala you will have a chance of taking a cup of tea or any drink in their beautiful bar constructed in the middle of the waterfalls. We will have an early lunch here before proceeding back to Jinja.  Later return to take a Boat ride tour the Actual source of the River Nile and get to the spot where the River Nile leaves  Lake Victoria.  Wind up with the evening, meal plans dinner and overnight at Nile Resort Jinja Hotel or Gately on the Nile or Sunset Hotel – Jinja.

Day 3:    Breakfast at leisure after which we will prepare to leave this part of the world and head back to Kampala End of Safari.
