TRIP SUMMARY:

Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous archipelago off the coast of Tanzania, known for its stunning beaches, vibrant culture, and rich history. It’s a popular destination for beach holidays, spice tours, and exploring historical sites,like stone town a UNESCO World Heritage site. The island is made up of Unguja (also known as Zanzibar Island) and Pemba Island, along with many smaller isles.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1: 

Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (AAKIA) Arrival – Stone Town 

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and greeted then transferred to the hotel in Stone Town for dinner and your overnight stay.

Meal: Bed and breakfast

Accommodation: Zanzibar Serena Hotel

DAY 2: 

Full Day at Stone Town.

On this day after having your breakfast you will be picked up by your driver from the hotel and head out for a city, Jozan and prison tour for the whole day, then later during the day you will return to your reserved accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Meal: Bed and breakfast

DAY 3: 

Stone Town – North Coast (Nungwi)

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, followed by a transfer to North Nungwi Beach for dinner and your overnight stay at the hotel.

Meal: Half Board Basis

Accommodation: Zawadi Zanzibar Hotel

DAY 4: 

Full Day in Beach Hotel

Today you will have breakfast at the hotel and a full day of relaxing at the beach. Any sea sport will be organized from the hotel at an extra cost. In the evening, enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at the hotel.

Right on the northernmost point of the island, the beach that surrounds this area is truly stunning. Azure waters and white sands are what awaits those that come here. The only drawback really is that many of the hotels have had to perch on the coral cliffs that run north from the village and as such lose their beaches at high tide. Generally, however, this is not a problem with the small backpacker community in the village.

DAY 5: 

Beach Hotel – Zanzibar Airport

Depart after breakfast and drive to Stone Town for the last-minute sightseeing. Proceed to the airport for the drop off ready to catch your flight back home. That is where our Zanzibar beach holiday will end.
