DAY 1:

Arrival Day

This day upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met a friendly driver who will pick you and transfer you to Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi in time to relax, dinner and overnight at your reserved accommodation.

Nairobi – Masai Mara

This day after having the breakfast you will commence your drive to Maasai Mara with picnic lunches on board via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. You will arrive in time for lunch and in the afternoon after you check in depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at your preferred lodge.
Maasai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It’s regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai Mara is the wonder of the world.

DAY 3:
Masai Mara

Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara River.
Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at USD 30. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people. An overnight at the Maasai village can be organized upon request.

A balloon safari at USD 400 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

DAY 4:

Masai Mara – North Serengeti:

After breakfast, you will drive to Isibania boarder of Tanzania and Kenya where you will clear formalities and then you will say good bye to your Kenyan guide and proceed with Tanzanian guide, you will be picked up by our professional driver guide and depart for a game drive in Northern Mara till in the evening. Serengeti, among other incredible wildlife and stunning views is famed for the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundred thousands of zebras, a frenzied bout of territorial conquests and mating happening from July-October. Witness an actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters. The wildebeest produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 mile) pilgrimage begins again.

DAY 5:
Full Day game viewing in Northern part of Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will proceed for a full day game drive viewing the great migration at Mara area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area. The key feature is the Mara River and there is a great chance to see the herds cross the Mara River to the north on one day and back south a few days later. Please note that it can be very difficult to witness crossing and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to river and only decide to cross a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve.

DAY 6:
North Serengeti National Park – Central Serengeti National Park: 155km/4-5hours

After breakfast at the camp, we drive to Serengeti central with game drive en-route on the way. , Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park and a world heritage site. The Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers an amazing game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.

DAY 7:
Full Day Central Serengeti

After breakfast, we will have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti.  Apart from the large mammals, Serengeti is also home to gaudy agama lizards; Rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite koppies. Wide varieties of dung beetle were found, and around 500 bird species have been recorded ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills.

DAY 8:

Ngorongoro Crater: 145km/3:30hours

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro highlands ready to descend to Ngorongoro for the crater tour with picnic lunches. Descent to the crater floor for the day tour. Some 20,000 mammals live in the area including about 20 black rhinoceros, making the crater the best place in Tanzania to see these amazing creatures. The crater floor also has one of the highest carnivore densities in the world. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas and jackals are commonly seen, while leopards, servals and bat-eared foxes may be seen with some luck. Later during the day, you will proceed to your reserved accommodation

Dinner and Overnight at The Castle at Ngorongoro on Full Board Basis

DAY 9:

Tarangire National Park: 120km/2hours

Enjoy early breakfast at the hotel and drive to Tarangire for game viewing. The park is well known for large number of elephants that congregate here, as do many wildebeest and zebras. There are also significant population of impala, giraffes, eland and buffalo. Thompson’s, gazelle, Coke’s hartebeest, bohor reedbuck and both greater and lesser kudu are found here. Lion are common throughout Tarangire, as are leopard. Later during the day, you will drive to your reserved accommodation.

DAY 10:

Tarangire National Park – Masai Village: 1hours

Enjoy early breakfast at the hotel proceed with morning en route game drives toward the park gates ready for the check out and drive to the Maasai Village. Here you will be welcomed by the Maasai elders, enjoy Maasai dance, participate in their daily activities like milking the cows, walking with the Maasai Warriors, slaughtering and preparing barbeque in Maasai style, storytelling at the fire place during the evening after dinner. Overnight at this Maasai Eco Boma on Full Board Basis

DAY 11:

Arusha Airport – Fly to Zanzibar

Enjoy early breakfast at the hotel and drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar, you will be transferred to nungwi beach for the overnight stay at your reserved Hotel.

DAY 12:

Full Day in Beach Hotel
Today you will have breakfast at the hotel and a full day of relaxing at the beach. Any sea sport will be organized from the hotel at an extra cost. In the evening, enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at the hotel.
Right on the northernmost point of the island, the beach that surrounds this area is truly stunning. Azure waters and white sands are what awaits those that come here. The only drawback really is that many of the hotels have had to perch on the coral cliffs that run north from the village and as such lose their beaches at high tide. Generally, however, this is not a problem with the small backpacker community in the village.

DAY 13:

Full Day in Beach Hotel
Leisure breakfast from the hotel a full day relaxing at the beach of north Nungwi all other sea sports can be organized from the hotel with extra cost dinner and overnight at the Hotel
Zanzibar the majestic spice island of the Indian Ocean. These are two main islands of Unguja and Pemba. Over centuries different cultures have influenced Zanzibar to become what it is today. Sumerians, Assyrians, Egyptians, Phonecians Indians Chinese, Persians, Portuguse Omani Arabs Dutch and British have settled here at one time or another and influenced the local culture into the present fusion.

DAY 14:

Beach Hotel – Zanzibar Airport

Depart after breakfast and drive to Stone Town for the last-minute sightseeing. Proceed to the airport for the drop off ready to catch your flight back home. That is where our Tanzania safari and beach holiday will end.
